Based in Beijing, the Sales Specialist will drive adoption of the LSEG Desktop Workspace platform across front, middle, and back-office functions within financial and corporate institutions. This role focuses on expanding presence in Foreign Exchange, Fixed Income, and Equities by developing strategic relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering tailored solutions to improve client workflows. You will conduct client meetings and product demonstrations, launch targeted sales campaigns, and collaborate with Shared Workflows Proposition and Sales Readiness teams to incorporate client feedback into product development, while maintaining accurate forecasts in Salesforce to exceed quotas.

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Specialist to drive adoption of the LSEG Desktop Workspace platform across front, middle, and back office functions within financial and corporate institutions. This role is pivotal in expanding our presence in the Foreign Exchange, Fixed Income and Equities communities, covering rates, credit, exchange-traded, and over-the-counter instruments.
As part of our Workspace sales team, you will be responsible for developing strategic relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering tailored solutions that enhance client workflows. You will play a key role in positioning LSEG Workspace as the go-to platform for financial professionals seeking powerful data, analytics, and collaboration tools.
Role Responsibilities
Lead efforts to drive community adoption of the LSEG Workspace platform across the Foreign Exchange, Fixed Income and Equities marketspace in Beijing, contributing to consistent sales growth and achievement of annual recurring revenue targets.
Develop and execute account-specific sales strategies, including competitive displacement programs, in collaboration with Account Managers.
Identify and pursue large-scale enterprise renewals and new opportunities focused on end-user workflows within both new and existing customer bases.
Conduct client meetings, product demonstrations, and presentations with the goal of securing new business and expanding platform usage.
Launch and manage targeted sales campaigns to increase market penetration and product awareness.
Collaborate closely with Shared Workflows Proposition and Sales Readiness teams to relay client feedback and contribute to product development.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales forecasts in Salesforce, exceeding monthly quotas and building a robust customer contact database.
Qualifications and Experience Required
Minimum of 5 years’ experience selling financial data desktop solutions, ideally within a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
Strong closing and relationship management skills across all client levels, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
Excellent presentation and communication skills, both in-person and via phone, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
Demonstrated ability to identify and cultivate new accounts using prospecting tools such as LinkedIn.
Highly articulate, enthusiastic, and self-motivated with strong prioritization and organizational skills.
Collaborative team player with superior negotiation skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
