The Senior Sales Specialist will drive LSEG's Data & Analytics growth in Real-Time Feeds, focusing on real-time, low-latency and historical data feed solutions for front to back office operations. The role involves building and closing deals, developing territory-specific sales strategies, and collaborating with Product Management, Sales Readiness and Account Management to generate pipeline and revenue. The ideal candidate will have deep industry knowledge across Trading, Capital Markets, Risk and related functions and a track record of selling to C-level executives within financial institutions.

The Sales Specialist is accountable for driving LSEG`s Data & Analytics strategy for growth and market differentiation. This role sits within the Data and Feeds Team and will focus on Real-Time, Low Latency and Historical Data Feed solutions primarily into Broker Dealers, Investment Banks, Hedge funds, and other Financial Institutions for Front, Middle and Back Office operations.

They work with and provide market insight to our Product Management, Sales Readiness and Account Management teams to support execution of this strategy. You will lead on deals aligned to this proposition and serve accounts within a defined territory. The role works closely with internal partners to proactively drive gross sales and revenue.

Role Responsibilities

  • Structure, negotiate and close deals
  • Proactively identify pipeline opportunities, in coordination with Account Managers
  • Develop the sales strategy for their proposition within their territory and build close plans in collaboration with Account Managers.
  • Provide insights and share LSEG thought leadership on their proposition with customers
  • Deliver customer demonstrations on their specific propositions

Qualifications and Experience Required

  • Must have deep workflow knowledge of & experience in dealing with different departments such as Trading, Capital Markets, Risk, Compliance, Middle & Back office, Funds, Technology, Reporting etc.
  • Demonstrate excellent understanding of using real-time pricing and time-series events for investment decision making for buy-side and sell-side market players
  • Extraordinary selling skills (identify, develop, & articulate proposition/ consultative selling) as a “hunter” and a "closer"
  • Creative problem solver and good sales conceptualization skills
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills (verbal & written)
  • Ability to coordinate and implement a sales plan based on solution selling
  • 5-10 years of industry, sales or market experience
  • Proven track record in a quota bearing sales environment
  • Experience selling to C- level executives
  • The Real-Time Proposition elements include: Real-Time, Intraday, End of Day & Time Series Pricing Data (all asset classes), Infrastructure and Cloud Solutions.

Compensation/Benefits Information:

LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $94,600 - $157,800.

Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location, city and state. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Variable Incentive Compensation plan. Target variable compensation will be commensurate with the posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience. LSEG roles (excluding internships and part-time roles of less than 20 hours per week) are typically eligible for inclusion in our LSEG Benefits program, which includes offerings of: Annual Wellness Allowance, Paid time-off, Medical, Dental, Vision, Flex Spending & Health Savings Options, Prescription Drug plan, 401(K) Savings Plan and Company match.
