This role is a senior sales position focused on selling Wealth Data Solutions software and data products to Retail Investors and Advisors across the Australia market. You will act as a hunter in pre-sales and pursuit activities, working with Account Managers to drive new, cross-sell, and up-sell opportunities, and lead deals aligned to the business. The role requires regular travel within Australia, close collaboration with solution consultants and customer success managers, and a willingness to build long-term relationships across financial services firms. Extensive training and support are provided, with potential territory expansion based on performance.

This is an exciting position for a salesperson to join a growing cross-regional APAC team! The role specializes in leading and structuring sales of software and data products passionate about Wealth Data Solutions for Retail Investors and Advisors – with a very strong focus on Traditional/Online Brokers, Consumer/Private Banking, Wealth Management firms. We target a wide range of personas who require data and analytics as well as engaging Digital content.

As a "hunter" in pre-sales and pursuit activities, you will join a team, and we will act alongside Account Managers focusing on all sales (new, cross-sells, up-sells) for the Wealth Data business in the Australia market with both existing and new customers. You will lead on deals aligned to the business and serve accounts within the assigned region. The role works in close partnership with internal teams to proactively drive gross sales and revenue.

This role is exclusively about gross sales - to clients, with future potential territory expansion depending on performance, and regular travel around the Australia market required. Extensive training and support is provided, and involves working in partnership with junior sales associates, account managers, solution consultants and customer success managers to proactively drive revenue growth.

Role Responsibilities

  • Cover the Australia market for the allocated solutions to address the needs of Traditional/Online Brokers, Consumer/Private Banking, Wealth Management firms with a focus on Wealth Data Solutions

  • Creatively structure, seek and close deals

  • Proactively and consistently seek for new opportunities

  • Develop the sales strategy within assigned territory / account base

  • Build long term relationships with professionals across various targeted industries

  • Deliver customer demonstrations on our data science related product offerings

Qualifications and Experience Required

  • Deep market understanding including a) understanding of financial markets b) knowledge of the Retail Self-Directed Investment & Wealth Advisory markets, and c) a strong understanding of customers' business model workflow

  • While product knowledge is a plus, passion and shown selling skills are far more meaningful

  • Strong sales closer!

  • Strong presentation skills (verbal & written)

  • Experience driving sales strategies

  • 10+ years of industry, sales or market experience

  • Proven track record in a quota bearing sales environment
