Senior sales leader focused on driving Workday HCM and Payroll sales within PwC. Responsible for developing and executing sales strategy, building and converting a strong pipeline, and closing profitable engagements. Will partner closely with PwC partners/directors and Workday's sales team, lead proposals and RFP responses, negotiate contracts, and maintain strategic relationships with Workday. Also responsible for coaching client-facing teams and providing sales forecasts and growth metrics to leadership.
About the role:
The Sales Director will focus on our sales capability within our Workday HCM and Payroll team. He or she will be responsible for developing and executing a sales strategy, working closely with our Partners and Directors, and with Workday’s Sales/AE team. As a dedicated sales role, the successful candidate will be expected to bring Workday sales excellence to all our Workday sales activities, which may be as part of broader PwC service offerings.
What your days will look like:
Develop our sales strategy and approach
Grow and strengthen our sales pipeline, building on input from PwC colleagues as well as self-generated leads.
Convert opportunities and close deals to win work, both working as an individual and as part of a team.
Build a strong internal network within PwC, including with our Industry and Client Account teams,
Lead and contribute to proposals, and RFP responses
Negotiate engagement contracts for strong profitable work, and do so in compliance with PwC internal policies and procedures.
Develop and maintain relationships with Workday, partnering where appropriate, and using influence to secure referrals
Coach and encourage our client facing Workday team in sales situations
Provide sales forecasts and growth metrics to our leadership
