The Ecosystem Solution Architect is the front-line technical sales engineer for Red Hat's ecosystem partners, translating partners' business goals into Red Hat solutions and uncovering joint growth opportunities. You'll present the full Red Hat portfolio, serve as the primary technologist and trusted advisor to partner technical teams, and co-create go-to-market strategies with ecosystem partners. You will own the ecosystem partner's technical blueprint and capabilities related to Red Hat technology, explore integrations, and assist the Partner Account Manager in executing the technical portion of the business plan. Successful applicants must reside in Indonesia where Red Hat is registered to do business.
The Red Hat Thailand team is looking for an experienced sales engineer to join us as a Ecosystem Solutions Architect. In this role, you will be the front-line technical person for our ecosystem partners. You'll discover and analyze our ecosystem partner’s business goal and advantage, tied in with Red Hat solutions to uncover untap potential to grow business together. As a Ecosystem Solutions Architect, you will need to have excellent communication and people skills, as you'll be a crucial part of the first in-depth experience our ecosystem partners have with Red Hat. We'll also need you to have a balance of technical expertise, passion for open source, and a thorough understanding of business processes. Successful applicants must reside in Indonesia where Red Hat is registered to do business.
What you will do:
Present the complete Red Hat portfolio to the ecosystem partners and customers
Serve as the primary technologist for the ecosystem partners and a trusted advisor to the technical teams and their business points of contact
Co-create go to market strategy with our ecosystem partners especially related to their technical capabilities and technical solutions
Own the ecosystem partner’s technical blue-print and technical capabilities related to Red Hat technology
Explore potential collaborations with ecosystem partners related to integration with Red Hat technologies
Assist Partner Account Manager to execute business plan from the technical portion
What you will bring:
Bachelor degree in Engineering
8+ years of experience working as a sales engineer, consultant, or solutions architect or in a relevant role; experience in pre-sales
Extensive knowledge of the Kubernetes ecosystem including competing technologies, Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform or competing enterprise automation technologies, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) or competing operating systems, virtualization infrastructure solutions, and cloud service providers
Have experience to work with public cloud technologies like AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, and Ali Cloud
Experience in working and nurturing business partners including partner recruitment, partner enablement, partner activation, and go to market strategy
Ability to translate technical knowledge and skills into proposals, presentations, standard demos, and customer workshops
Ability to coordinate associates and inspire and persuade internal and external stakeholders
Knowledge of UNIX or Linux systems, preferably in a Red Hat’s platform like Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Red Hat Network Satellite, or other related technologies
Knowledge of open source cloud Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) solutions and kubernetes
Knowledge of technologies like clustering, directory services, and identity management
Excellent technical capabilities in modern methodologies like agile, DevOps, and continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD), and related capabilities like automation, orchestration, and configuration management
Experience with Linux system programming and system administration
