Expectations and Tasks 

The Architect Advisor is a key customer-facing role within the Presales organization to support and inspire our customers on their transformation path to becoming an intelligent enterprise. Based on a profound industry process knowledge combined with SAP solution knowledge, the  Architect Advisor acts as a trusted advisor who supports our customers in translating their business needs into future-proof and fit-for-purpose architectures that build the foundation for their digital transformation. Customer intimacy and deep know-how of the industry and as well of the SAP portfolio are key, together with proven communication skills on Executive Business and IT Management levels.
 
You will work closely together with our customers and with your sales counterparts. Your success will be based on your experience in defining a competitive positioning and your ability to build trusted relationships with the customer and your colleagues in the virtual account team and the SAP ecosystem. Handling pressure and managing multiple engagements simultaneously is a key asset. When it comes to larger transformation opportunities, it will be your task to articulate a compelling solution proposition and outline the value and benefits to the customers long term business. Based on your discussions with the client’s executives, you will help to identify business needs and opportunities and provide guidance on how SAP can address these.

To be successful in the role of Architect Advisor, we believe that:


•    You have experience in composing and delivering superior sales presentations covering SAP solutions and partner software to prospective customer audiences. The presentations must articulate the sales message, differentiate SAP, and leave a strong and positive impression to audiences which can include senior company executives.
•    You possess excellent skills in making the customer presentations simple, appealing and compelling. You are used to prepare and deliver value-based software demonstrations/presentations in support of sales cycles. You do also have good knowledge and ability to effectively present to customers “remotely” using virtual technologies
•    You are used to conduct discovery sessions with representatives from the prospective customer to build relationships with the customer and understand their unique needs.
•    You are used to talking with business stakeholders to understand their requirements, and current business demand and propose new solutions and applications that provide enhanced value from a customer perspective
•    You are used to designing business and solution architectures based on the best-fit components from our extended ecosystem to enable the expected benefits 
•    You have the ability to lead when deals require complex solutions and multiple presales participate to support.
•    You have a cloud-first mindset and are interested in applying the latest architecture technology.


Education and Qualifications / Skills and Competencies 

Personal skills: 
•    Bachelor equivalent: minimum requirement
•    Master equivalent: preferred  

•    MBA / Ph.D.: optional
•    Ability to work in international and virtual teams
•    Fluency in Finnish and English is a must, any other Nordic language is an asset.  

Work Experience: 

•    More than 10 years of industry expertise/project management/solution consulting experience and have proven your presales and project experience in multiple SAP customer projects/engagements.
•    Experience with SAP products
•    Excellent understanding of key business processes in one or more industries

•    Experience with sales processes


Mobility

•    Ability and willingness to travel
