 Senior Account Executive – European Institutions (Cloud & AI)

 

European Institutions are among SAP’s most strategic public‑sector customers. As part of SAP’s Strategic Customer Program, we partner with EU bodies to accelerate cloud transformation, enable data‑driven decision‑making, and unlock value through Business AI—securely, compliantly, and at scale.

As Senior Account Executive – European Institutions, you will own and grow a portfolio of EU accounts, driving net‑new cloud bookings and consumption while positioning SAP as a trusted transformation partner to Europe’s most influential public institutions.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Own executive‑level relationships and lead complex, multi‑year cloud transformation programs
  • Drive growth across RISE with SAP, GROW with SAP, Business Technology Platform, Business Data Cloud, and Business AI
  • Achieve and exceed net‑new cloud bookings and consumption targets
  • Lead value‑based selling conversations grounded in outcomes, ROI, and long‑term value realization
  • Orchestrate virtual account teams, partners, and SAP leadership around a clear account strategy

 

What You Bring

  • 10+ years of experience selling complex enterprise software or cloud solutions in the public sector
  • 5+ years working with European Institutions, including framework contracts and long sales cycles
  • Proven success closing large, transformation‑led, multi‑stakeholder deals
  • Strong cloud, platform, and AI acumen, with executive‑level presence
  • High sensitivity to data protection, privacy, and digital sovereignty
  • Fluent English, fluent French and/or Dutch required
  • Willing to travel across the European Union (up to 20% of time)
