About the SAP Internship Experience Program
The SAP Internship Experience Program is a global, strategic, paid internship program designed to provide university students with opportunities to find purpose in their careers. You’ll gain hands-on experience, structured learning, and exposure to real business challenges, while being part of a vibrant global intern community.
- Start date: 1st or 15th of each month (subject to business needs and completion of the recruitment and onboarding process)
- Duration: minimum of 6 months (full-time, 39.5 hours/week)
Languages Required
We are hiring for multiple country-focused teams based in Barcelona and are looking for candidates who are proficient in one or more of the following languages:

In addition, strong Business English (verbal and written) is required, as it is the working language across teams. Native English speakers are also encouraged to apply.

Who You Are
You are interested in starting a career in IT sales and are attracted to customer-facing roles. You take initiative, stay curious, and like working on meaningful, innovative projects.
You are likely:
- In the final stages of your education (bachelor's or master’s student)
- Able to sign a tri-party internship agreement with SAP via your university (mandatory under Spanish law)
- Studying Business Administration, Management, Sales, Marketing, Data/Process Management, IT/Digital Transformation, or similar
- Ready for a full-time, 6-month placement (39.5 hours per week)
- Skilled in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Canva
- Detail-oriented and capable of delivering high-quality work
- Driven, proactive, and collaborative with a problem-solving mindset
- An active listener who understands assignments and delivers results
Your Mission
Help our team connect with the right prospects, at the right time, using the right message — all with the goal of turning them into SAP customers. Your work will directly support our Sales Developers and Account Executives in building a high-quality pipeline that fuels SAP’s growth engine.
What You’ll Learn — and How:
During your internship, you will have the opportunity to learn best practices in digital prospecting, including:
- Gaining a working understanding of industry-specific trends and how SAP delivers value
- Observing how to prepare for conversations with C-level decision-makers
- Exploring techniques for handling objections and aligning needs with SAP solutions
- Building foundational knowledge in sales data management, including profiling target accounts and understanding industry segmentation
- Developing familiarity with reporting tools and how sales teams use account intelligence
- Gaining exposure to customer-facing situations by shadowing Sales Developers during live interactions
- Exploring how digital marketing signals can support account qualification and highlight high-potential prospects
- Driving awareness of the internship program by promoting it through social media, university channels, and job boards
