The Solution Advisory Lead APAC is a senior individual contributor who acts as a trusted advisor to APAC leadership, market units, and solution advisory teams, elevating the quality of customer engagements, strengthening solution storytelling, and driving consistent solution advisory excellence across the APAC region. The role blends deep solution expertise with strategic influence across industries, working with executive stakeholders to lift the capability of SAP's solution advisory practice. This position is advertised in Melbourne but may be based in any APAC market with no relocation.

The role is advertised in Melbourne; however, the position may be based in any APAC market. Candidates are encouraged to apply regardless of location (no relocation).  

 

The Solution Advisory Lead APAC will act as a trusted advisor to APAC leadership, market units, and solution advisory teams, helping to elevate the quality of customer engagements, strengthen solution storytelling, and drive consistent solution advisory excellence across the region.  

 

This is unique opportunity to combine deep solution expertise with strategic influence, working across industries, lines of business, and executive stakeholders to help SAP win and lift the collective capability of our solution advisory practice across the region. 

As a senior individual contributor, you will: 

Solution Advisory Strategy and Excellence 

  • Shape and drive regional Solution Advisory priorities in alignment with APAC and global presales leadership. 

  • Define best practices for solution demonstrations, customer storytelling, and executive engagement. 

  • Contribute to the design and rollout of regional Solution Advisory programs, methodologies, and enablement initiatives. 

 

Customer Engagement Impact 

  • Support strategic, high-visibility customer opportunities as a Solution Advisory expert and trusted advisor. 

  • Partner with account teams to craft compelling, outcome-focussed solution narratives for key deals 

  • Help elevate the quality and consistency of customer presentationsdemonstrations and workshop 

 

Cross-functional collaboration  

  • Work closely with Market Units and lines of business to ensure a cohesive go-to-market approach. 

  • Act as bridge between global strategy and local execution across APAC 

  • Influence stakeholders across LOBs to ensure alignment of flagship demos, assets, and messaging. 

 

Thought Leadership 

  • Represent APAC Solution Advisory in leadership forums and strategic initiatives. 

  • Share insights and feedback from the field to help refine SAP’s solution position and enablement priorities 

  • Act as a visible role model for solution advisory excellence across the region. 

 

 Experience & Qualifications  

  • 6+ years’ experience as a Solution Advisor, Presales Leader, or equivalent customer-facing role within enterprise software.  

  • Strong understanding of SAP’s Business Suite portfolio and how it is positioned in complex enterprise transformations.  

  • Proven experience operating in a highly matrixed, multicounty environment.  

  • Strong track record of delivering compelling executive-level presentation and solution demonstrations 

  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of enterprise buying processes 

  • Ability to influence without authority and collaborate across functions and cultures.
