We're supporting a major public-sector digital transformation programme and are looking for an experienced Content Designer to join a high-performing creative and product team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a large-scale, user-centred project that is shaping how vital information and services are delivered to citizens.

Role Overview

As a Content Designer, you will play a key role in defining content strategy and shaping user-focused digital products. You will use audience insights, research, and data to design clear, accessible content that meets user needs and enhances the overall user experience.

You'll operate as a subject matter expert, collaborating closely with product, design, and research teams, and contributing to key decisions across multiple workstreams. You'll also support and guide team members, helping to drive quality, consistency, and innovation across content outputs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed audience research to inform content strategy and design

  • Develop and deliver user-centred content that aligns with product goals

  • Analyse data and performance metrics to optimise content effectiveness

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across product, design, and research

  • Lead problem-solving discussions and provide content expertise across teams

  • Drive innovative approaches to content creation, planning, and distribution

  • Facilitate creative workshops and idea-generation sessions

Skills & Experience

  • Strong background in Content Design within a digital environment

  • Advanced understanding of product development

  • Experience with digital content solutions, content planning, and content assessment

  • Ability to work across multiple teams and contribute to strategic decisions

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-engagement skills

  • SC Clearance (or eligibility to obtain)
