Senior UX Designer for Amazon's FinAuto team who will drive cross-product design direction and influence roadmaps across multiple enterprise tools. Combines hands-on design leadership with systems thinking and mentorship, delivering long-term experience strategy and tactical solutions for complex workflows. Partners with Product, Engineering, UX Research and business stakeholders to research, define requirements, and deliver scalable end-to-end finance automation experiences. Will eliminate operational bottlenecks, establish scalable design patterns, and help shape the future direction of finance automation at Amazon.

The Challenge: Amazon's Finance Operations processes millions of transactions daily across a complex, interconnected ecosystem of tools and workflows. As the business scales, fragmented experiences create operational friction, inconsistent patterns multiply technical debt, and teams struggle to balance automation opportunities with the need for human judgment. The cost? Compounding inefficiencies, delayed strategic initiatives, and missed opportunities to transform finance operations at scale.

The Solution We're Building: The FinAuto Experience Design team eliminates these inefficiencies by designing intelligent, human-in-the-loop (HITL) platforms that transform how finance operations work globally. We leverage AI, automation, and systems thinking to create scalable solutions that empower Amazon's Finance Operations teams to work faster, more accurately, and more strategically.

Our Approach: AI assists, recommends, and augments human expertise rather than replacing it. We design experiences where automation handles complexity while humans focus on decisions requiring judgment and context.

The Environment: We operate in a fast-paced, highly ambiguous space, building both 0→1 products and evolving mature platforms used globally. Our work directly impacts operational efficiency, financial accuracy, and strategic capability across Amazon's worldwide operations.

The Role: We're seeking a Senior UX Designer who operates at a strategic level, driving cross-product design direction, influencing roadmap decisions, and elevating design excellence across teams. This role combines hands-on design leadership with strong systems thinking, mentorship, and organizational impact.

You'll define long-term experience strategy while delivering tactical solutions for immediate product needs. You'll work across multiple product areas, ensuring designs function seamlessly within interconnected tools, processes, and workflows. You'll partner autonomously with Product, Engineering, UX Research, and business stakeholders to research, define requirements, and deliver solutions for complex, end-to-end enterprise workflows.

This role demands the ability to balance strategic vision with execution excellence, identifying opportunities to simplify, scale, or extend solutions for maximum impact while championing best practices that raise the quality bar across products.

The Impact: Your strategic design leadership will directly eliminate operational bottlenecks, establish scalable design patterns across the ecosystem, and empower finance teams to focus on high-value strategic work that drives business outcomes. You'll shape not just individual products, but the future direction of finance automation at Amazon.
