Join Amazon's FinAuto Experience Design team as a UX Designer focusing on Finance Operations automation. Own end-to-end design for FinOps workflows and tools, translating ambiguous problems into clear, user-centered solutions while considering broader system impact. Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and UX Research to evolve the design system, run lightweight research, and de-risk design decisions. This role aims to reduce operational overhead and empower finance teams to work faster and more accurately at scale.
The Finance Automation (FinAuto) Experience Design team eliminates these inefficiencies by designing intelligent, human-in-the-loop (HITL) tools that transform how finance operations work at scale. We leverage AI and automation to create scalable solutions that empower Amazon's Finance Operations (FinOps) teams to work faster, more accurately, and more strategically.
AI assists, recommends, and augments human judgment rather than replacing it. We design experiences where automation handles repetitive work while humans focus on decisions that require expertise and context.
We operate in a fast-paced, highly ambiguous space, building both 0→1 products and evolving mature platforms used globally. Our work directly impacts operational efficiency and financial accuracy across Amazon's worldwide operations.
We're seeking a UX Designer who thrives in complexity, thinks in systems, and designs for scale. You'll own end-to-end design across all phases of product development, from early concept exploration through launch and iteration, defining experiences in partnership with Product Management, UX Research, Engineering, and business stakeholders.
This role demands strong systems thinking and the ability to translate loosely defined problem spaces into clear, executable design solutions. You'll navigate ambiguity, program complexity, and emerging technologies while ensuring design-led programs drive meaningful operational change.
Your designs will directly reduce operational overhead, eliminate manual errors, and empower finance teams to focus on strategic work that drives business value.
