You will work closely with engineering project teams to build and maintain content that helps Arm's partners use our products, advocate for high-quality information, and collaborate with the wider Arm community to improve documentation processes. The role emphasizes clear communication, proactive collaboration, and the ability to adapt to evolving technologies in a global audience. This is an opportunity to contribute to world-leading technology and support Arm’s partners worldwide.

Are you passionate about writing and excited by ground-breaking technology? We are looking for highly motivated people to join Arm and help craft the next generation of Arm technologies! Our work influences 95% of the world’s connected devices running on Arm, across a variety of industries: from healthcare to smart homes. As an Information Developer in the Media Engineering Tech Comms team, you will work closely with engineering project teams, building the user documentation and content that Arm's partners need to make the best use of our products.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, build, edit, and maintain user-centric content for Graphics, Image Signal, and Machine Learning processors.
  • Advocate for high-quality content that is aligned with user needs and optimized for a global audience.
  • Collaborate with the team and the wider Arm community to improve what we do and how we work.

Required Skills and Experience :

  • Information Developer/Technical Writer with experience working on several technical projects and dealing with conflicting priorities.
  • Proactive teammate who enjoys working in a collaborative, inclusive, and dynamic environment.
  • Clear communicator and creative problem solver.
  • Eager to learn about new technologies and standards.
  • Open to change and able to adapt quickly.

“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience :

These skills and experiences are not required for your application, but you will need a strong curiosity about acquiring them, and a passion for continuous improvement. We are keen to welcome innovative people into Arm.

  • Some exposure to one or more of: structured content authoring, DITA, Markdown, Git.
  • Knowledge of a graphics tool, such as EdrawMax or Visio.
  • A degree or postgraduate qualification in a related area. For example: Electronics, Computer Science, Physics, Maths, or English.

Familiarity with electronics is an advantage because of the domain in which Arm works. Understanding computer architecture and how hardware and software interact is a good start.

In Return:

Arm's culture offers a vibrant and encouraging community that empowers you to achieve and innovate. The opportunities to learn are endless, and we encourage you to take advantage of the many opportunities to do so, with time and resources dedicated to your professional development. Our attractive reward package is complemented by health and wellness benefits.

Hybrid Working at Arm

Arm’s approach to hybrid working is designed to create a working environment that supports both high performance and personal wellbeing.
