As a Student Assistant UX Designer in Danske Bank's Housing Journey Tribe, you will support the design and development of advisor tools and customer solutions for web and mobile within the housing area. You'll collaborate with stakeholders from business, development, and users to ensure user-centered solutions. You will create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to communicate concepts, and assist with user research, testing, and feedback to refine solutions. The role offers a flexible 15–20 hour work week in Copenhagen, with room to adjust during exams, and a pathway to kickstart your UX design career.

Location: Copenhagen V, Denmark

Are you excited about creating great user experiences and eager to put your skills to work on real

world challenges? Join us as a Student Assistant UX Designer in the Housing Journey Tribe, where you'll help shape the digital home
financing solutions that make decisions easier, clearer, and more confident for our many customers and advisors.

You’ll primarily be supporting the development of tools  that empower our advisors to deliver outstanding service to customers buying a home or managing their home finances. You’ll also get the chance to impact the broader design agenda of the tribe - jumping in with ad

‑hoc design support and collaborating with designers on initiatives across Denmark and the Nordics. On top of that, you’ll be part of our design chapter, where you’ll receive feedback, learn from fellow designers, and help strenghten our overall design maturity.

Your responsibilities:

  • Support the design and development of advisor tools and customer solutions for web and mobile platforms within the housing area.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders from business, developers, and users to ensure user-centred solutions.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to communicate your ideas effectively.
  • Assist with user research, testing, and gathering feedback to refine solutions.
  • Provide ad-hoc design help to projects as needed.

About you:

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant design, UX, or related degree programme.
  • Strong interest in digital product design and user experience.
  • Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or similar. We use Figma at Danske Bank.
  • Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.

In Danske Bank, we’re committed to creating an inclusive environment where everyone can thrive. We combine focused, ambitious work with plenty of fun, and we actively welcome applicants of all genders, religions, sexualities, and ethnicities. We believe in flexibility, empowerment, and strong team spirit.

You’ll join a dynamic, supportive environment where your ideas directly shape the housing experience for thousands of customers. You can expect a flexible 15–20 hour work week, with room to adjust during exam periods. If you’re ready to kick

start your UX design career and make a real impact, we’d love to hear from you!

How to apply:

Share your cover letter, CV, and portfolio (if available) as soon as possible - we plan interviews as applications are received. Please be aware that any applications or CVs coming through email or direct messages will not be accepted or considered.

If you have any questions, please contact UX Chapter Lead Mathias Malmkvist Bahrenscheer at mbah@danskebank.dk.
