Design Led Innovation – Senior Consultant

The Opportunity

EY’s Innovation and Experience Design practice is rapidly expanding, and we are looking for passionate individuals who thrive on helping organizations innovate and transform through compelling experiences and digital strategies. As a Senior Consultant, you will work in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment within a global firm, collaborating with some of the most knowledgeable professionals in the industry. This role offers the chance to help clients imagine what’s possible and execute on that vision using design thinking and digital innovation principles.

 

Your Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Consultant in Design Led Innovation, you will:

  • Contribute to projects addressing clients’ most pressing challenges across sectors such as healthcare, consumer products, retail, automotive, and technology.
  • Support the design and delivery of customer experience and digital strategy initiatives, including:
    • Customer personas and journey maps
    • Voice of the customer analysis
    • Design thinking workshops
    • Digital platform assessments and vendor evaluations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality deliverables and innovative solutions.
  • Assist in developing transformation roadmaps and actionable strategies aligned with client objectives.
  • Participate in research and analysis to uncover insights that inform experience design and digital innovation.

 

Skills and Attributes for Success

  • Strong understanding of customer-centric product development and its application to digital transformation.
  • Familiarity with B2B, B2B2C, and B2C experience models and omnichannel strategies.
  • Exposure to design thinking techniques such as journey mapping, persona development, and UX/UI principles.
  • Ability to synthesize research findings into actionable insights and innovative concepts.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work in diverse, inclusive teams.
  • Strong business acumen and outcomes-oriented approach to digital strategy and innovation.
  • Comfort with facilitating workshops and engaging stakeholders to align on objectives and action plans.

 

To Qualify for the Role, You Must Have

  • A bachelor’s degree with 2–4 years of experience in Digital Strategy, Customer Experience, Design Thinking, Business Strategy, or Product Design.
  • Experience in research, analysis, and conceptual design for digital initiatives.

 

Ideally, You’ll Also Have

  • Prior experience in a consulting environment or digital agency.
  • Exposure to omni-channel strategy and customer experience projects.
  • Understanding of buyer behavior and digital platform trends.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
