We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant UI UX Manager.

Business: HK Regional Team

Principal responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Drive the user experience design process from concept to final implementation, delivering best-in-class user experiences for HSBC Hong Kong’s digital products, including the mobile banking app and online banking.
  • Produce user experience designs, including requirement visualisation, customer journey mapping, information architecture, wireframes, interactive prototypes and detailed UI designs.
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of user-centric digital solutions that align with business objectives and user needs.
  • Support design activities, including user research and ideation sessions, to create and refine user-centric digital solutions. Effectively communicate findings and design rationale to stakeholders.
  • Advocate for user-centred design principles and best practices within the organisation.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure our digital experiences remain competitive and relevant.

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a UX Designer or similar role.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing your UX design skills and process.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, usability, and accessibility standards.
  • Profound understanding of best practices and trends regarding digital, banking, finance, and investment products.
  • Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
