Join ING Hubs Romania as a Senior UX Designer in the Center of Expertise UX Design and Content. You will design, test, and improve ING's in-house apps and digital services, including the InsideBusiness Portal, employee services platform, a mobile app, and web banking experiences for clients and internal users across 35+ countries. You will work in multidisciplinary teams, collaborate with Customer Journey Experts and Engineers, and play a key role as the first UX designer in Romania to help build the local team and align with ING's agile delivery strategy.

The mission
You will be part of the Center of Expertise UX Design and Content. Our mission is to execute the seamless digital delivery strategy with a positive result. We are a team with passionate UX design specialists and content writers. OurCoEworks with different tribes,squadsand stakeholders throughout ING Wholesale Bank. We work according to the ING agile way of working.
OurCoEis currently based inAmsterdamandwe are expanding our team with UX designers in our ING Hubs Romania location.This role will be the first UX designer in this setting, so you will also play an important role in building the team in Romania.
Your day to day
You will design,testand improve our inhouse builtapplications and help digitize our many processes. We design for our ingwb.com website,InsideBusinessPortal (our web banking platform),InsideBusinessServices (our employee facing service platform), a mobile app and a lot of other specialized applications throughout the bank. Our users areclientsand internal users who are spread over more than 35 countries who use our channels for daily banking, service, finding information and to buy our products.
Together with Customer Journey Experts and Engineers we are here to deliver on our customer promise. You work in a tech-driven environment in multidisciplinary teams indifferent partsof the bank to provide customers a superior banking experience that is also positive for the planet.
You willmaintaina helicopter-view of what is needed to deliver the bestdesignsand you will be able to prioritize your tasks accordingly to get the most value for our customers.
What you’ll bring to the team
You have a minimum of 5yearswork experienceasUXDesigner, preferably in the financial service industry;
Your specialty is interaction design but also confident in other fields of UX design (visual design, user testing);
Abilityto understand the underlying issues,opportunitiesand dynamics of an international organization;
Ability to display style flexibility, approach and behaviorfordifferent needs,culturesand situation;
You proactively advise internal stakeholders on the right approach to achieving their goals;
You have excellent English verbal and written communication skills;
You have an impressive portfolio with preferably financial cases;
Proficient in Figma.
