As a Vice President Experience Design within the design system team, you blend deep technical expertise with design skills to deliver innovative, user-centric solutions. You will empower our design organization by developing Figma plugins and architecting AI stacks, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to impact financial products and customer experiences.

Job responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain internal tools and AI-powered applications for the design organization
  • Lead development of Figma plugins and web-based design tools using React and TypeScript
  • Build relationships with design leads and stakeholders to drive adoption of the design system
  • Develop and execute design and research strategies aligned with business objectives and user needs
  • Lead end-to-end design initiatives, including wireframes, prototypes, and service flows
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate user experience design into product development
  • Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Five years of experience in user experience design, design technology, or similar roles
  • Advanced proficiency in Figma plugin development, React, and TypeScript
  • Experience architecting and maintaining AI stacks on cloud platforms
  • Ability to create visual representations of user journeys, including wireframes and prototypes
  • Experience in inclusive design and accessibility guidelines
  • Advanced technical literacy in client-side technologies, APIs, and microservices
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate design rationale
  • Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Advanced knowledge of Figma, including creating and maintaining libraries
  • Adaptability, curiosity, and a collaborative mindset
  • Design, build, and maintain innovative in-house tools and AI-powered solutions as a design technologist.
