Lead the design vision for Rabobank’s IT delivery ecosystem as Lead Designer Engineering Experience. You will partner with senior architects, tech leads, and business owners to align the experience with strategic goals, and mentor a small team of designers. You will establish standards and governance to ensure coherent journeys across applications at scale, drive a design strategy and roadmap for the ecosystem, and define outcome metrics linked to business value. The role is based in Utrecht, Netherlands, with a hybrid work arrangement and a 36-hour work week.

This is what we offer you

  • Salary: Gross monthly salary between EUR 5,876 and EUR 8,395 (scale 10) for a 36-hour work week.
  • Extras: a thirteenth month, 8% holiday allowance, and a 10% Employee Benefit Budget.
  • Development budget: EUR 1,400 development budget per year for your growth and development.
  • Hybrid working: a balance between home and office work (possible for most roles).

Lead the design vision for Rabobank’s IT delivery ecosystem as Lead Designer Engineering Experience. Partner with senior architects, tech leads, and business owners to align the experience with strategic goals. Guide and mentor a small team of designers to translate vision into intuitive, consistent journeys for distinct user groups while managing the team backlog and priorities.

You & your talent

  • 15+ years of experience as a designer and design lead in a large corporate context.
  • Proven discussion partner for senior stakeholders in a vast and complex  IT landscape.
  • Track record translating complex problems into simple, intuitive solutions for specific user groups.
  • Experience designing for software delivery tooling in a technology‑driven environment.
  • Experience with complex journey frameworks, preferably in an enterprise experience context.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
