Product Owner responsible for the Frontend Design System within Nexa. You’ll define vision, strategy and roadmap, prioritize backlog, and ensure reusable design components, accessibility and scalability. Collaborate with UX, frontend, platform and brand teams to align, improve developer experience and UX consistency. The role focuses on turning fragmented interfaces into a cohesive enterprise-ready design system and driving adoption and impact across 8,000+ engineers.

You & your role

Our Area consists of eight squads. We’re looking for a Product Owner to take ownership of the Frontend Design System within Nexa. As Product Owner, you ensure there’s a structured and reusable collection of design standards and implementation components that help all to build consistent, accessible, and scalable user interfaces within Nexa. You think in terms of value and outcomes, not just features, and you set clear priorities that help the team focus. Your product strategy turns fragmented interfaces and styles into a coherent, reusable, and enterprise-ready design system. You accelerate developer experience, increase predictability, and strengthen UX consistency, laying the foundation for the Internal eco-system of the future.

Examples for practices

  • Accelerate UI consistency & delivery: Design and deliver a modular component framework that enables engineering teams to build interface elements 50–70% faster.
  • Drive design & engineering alignment: Collaborate with design, platform teams, and developer communities to create a shared visual and interaction system.
  • Optimize through insights: Analyze usage data, design reviews, usability feedback, and adoption metrics to reduce design debt and improve UX consistency.

You & your talent

  • 5+ years experience as a Product Owner, preferably in enterprise scale environments
  • Strong product vision with a clear focus on value, outcomes, and user impact
  • Proven ability to set priorities and balance long term strategy with short term delivery
  • Experience owning or scaling frontend design systems, component libraries, or UI frameworks
  • Ability to translate between engineering needs, design and UX
  • Solid understanding of frontend technologies, UX principles and accessibility
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross team collaboration skills
  • Experience improving developer experience (DX) and team effectiveness
