The Sr. Associate, User Experience Design leads and delivers user-centered digital experiences across Digital Sales, Online Banking, and Mobile Banking. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive UX strategy, design execution, and mentoring junior team members. It requires expertise in design tools, user research, and agile methodologies to create impactful customer experiences.

The Difference You Make: The Sr. Associate, User Experience Design is responsible for working with designers, researchers, product managers, and developers to lead and deliver great user-centered digital experiences to our customers. The Lead UX Designer will lead, contribute to, drive, and deliver on the strategy and execution of the user experience within our Digital Sales, Online Banking, and Mobile Banking experiences owned by the Digital Team. The Lead UX Designer will lead and deliver work on items from early stage design (workshops, interviews, wireframing, design strategy) to later stage design (high fidelity visual design, design to development handoffs, UAT, etc.) - Lead UX design work for digital products and projects. - Prioritize UX design work throughout area of ownership. - Contribute to defining UX strategy and produce UX templates to increase team efficiency. - Influence broader digital team priorities by bringing a customer lens to strategic meetings. - Support partnerships with other teams through the bank. - Iterate on Digital Sales, and Online & Mobile Banking designs through user-centered and data-driven feedback and findings. - Collaborate with researchers and product managers to understand existing customer pain points and provide recommendations to remediate. - Collaborate with designers, researchers, developers, and product managers to proactively identify potential new value/features to bring to our customers. - Evaluate the competitive landscape (direct and indirect) to understand opportunities for improvements or new features. - Facilitate design & research workshops that inspire user-centered problem solving. - Mentor and assist other UX team members. - Perform additional administrative functions as needed. What You Bring: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. - BS/BA degree or higher: Design/Creative, Human Interaction, Technology, or Related Field - Preferred. - 6+ Years Relevant and related work experience - Required. - 9+ Years Relevant and related work experience - Preferred. - 2+ Years Supervisory experience (with or without direct reports) - Preferred. - Ability and willingness to coach and inspire more junior team members. - Ability to supervise work of others when needed. - Ability to define internal priorities based on broader organization priorities. - Ability to get work done & define future work without direct supervision. - Ability to quickly adapt to changing requirements. - Ability to quickly build professional relationships with other teams and team members. - Ability to communicate well through oral and written communications and actively collaborate with others. - Ability to meet deadlines and provide critical analysis. - Ability to present work and others' work to stakeholders. - Ability to communicate your design rationale to technical and business stakeholders. - Expertise with design tools such as Sketch or Figma. - Expertise in adhering to UI Design best practices. - Expertise in usability testing methodologies and agile processes. - Very familiar with the Apple Human Interface Guidelines and Google Material Design Guidelines. - Very familiar with how design translates to code. - Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook. - A portfolio that showcases your design process and examples of your work is desired. Certifications: - Other: UX or CX Industry Certification - Preferred. It Would Be Nice For You To Have: - Established work history or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education. - Experience in Microsoft Office products. What Else You Need To Know: The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.
